The brief
Built over 30 years ago, this St Ives property was overdue a facelift, with the old renovations already dated. The house needed attention both inside and out and it required a complete home renovation to transform it into a modern build.
A two storey home extensive internal renovations were needed for both the upstairs and downstairs levels. This included all wet areas, including the bathrooms, ensuite, kitchen and laundry.
The existing downstairs level lacked an open-plan design, needing internal walls removed to open the space. The stairs also need to be replaced.
Outside, the exterior needed several elements updated, with the paint requiring a refresh.
What our team achieved
Transforming the property entirely, the renovated St. Ives home now boasts an exquisite blend of elegance and modernity. Our team incorporated sleek architectural elements and innovative design concepts to create a truly remarkable living space.
The interior now features an open floor plan on the bottom level that enhances the flow of natural light, creating a bright and airy ambience throughout. The main living areas now blend into one seamless space.
Carefully chosen finishes were selected to add a touch of luxury to every room. Throughout the home, a contemporary black and white colour palette was carried throughout. This established a clean and timeless aesthetic.
In addition to the inside, the exterior has been transformed into a design that offers street appeal. We replaced several elements and gave the building a new coat of paint.
Highlights of the property
There were many highlights of a complete home renovation that spanned both inside and outside.
Some of the highlights for the interior include new stairs with glass balustrades, modern light fittings, updated skirting, matte black polyurethane cabinets and sleek Caesarstone concrete benchtops.
For the outside, we installed new Merbau posts on the front verandah, replaced the front door and changed the windows.
